I'm a tall guy (6'6" or 198cm) who's lived in Japan for a good chunk of a decade. Buying clothes on the Japanese market, that fit me, was an exercise in futility. Not that I expected to ever find any clothes that fit me, but I could usually get a hat or the ultra rare t-shirt that fit until the first wash. So I would love to express my surprise and joy that this jinbei fit great! The top and the shorts aren't too big and they're not tight. The fabric is lightweight, yet strong. These are very nice to wear in the summer!
